FAQs
Answers to the most common questions about Araxie waterless skincare, our botanical ingredients, the cold-fusion process, and clean beauty.
What is the difference between Araxie and conventional store-bought skincare?
Most conventional skincare is built around water, synthetic ingredients, fillers, fragrances, and preservatives. Araxie is built around naturally sourced, organic botanicals and concentrated plant-based ingredients. Our formulas use fewer unnecessary ingredients, contain no added water, and are made in small batches using our cold-fusion process.
Is Araxieorganic?
Araxie is made with naturally sourced, organic botanicals. We are also transparent about an important distinction: a shelf-stable product that is 100% organic is extremely difficult to make, because commercially viable organic preservatives and emulsifiers are limited. Our approach is to use naturally sourced ingredients wherever possible and carefully evaluate every ingredient that goes into our formulas.
Why doesn't Araxie add water to its formulas?
We do not believe water needs to be the foundation of every skincare product. Removing added water lets us create concentrated formulas built around botanical oils, vitamins, and nutrients, and it eliminates the need to formulate around water as a primary ingredient. The result is skincare that is concentrated, efficient, and focused on botanical nourishment.
How do I use Araxie in my routine?
Because Araxie is concentrated, start with a few drops, warm the product between your fingers, and press it into clean skin. Use less than you would with a water-based product, and use it consistently. Results in skincare come from using the right ingredients regularly rather than switching between products.
Why is clean skincare growing so quickly?
Consumers are paying closer attention to what they put on and into their bodies. They are reading ingredient labels, questioning unnecessary additives, and looking for recognizable, naturally sourced ingredients. That shift has accelerated interest in clean beauty, natural skincare, organic skincare, and botanical formulations. Araxie was built around that philosophy from the start.
Will Araxie help with the appearance of aging?
Several formulas in the line are designed to support skin that looks smoother, firmer, and more radiant over time. Our AMPLIFY face and neck cream is a high-intensity botanical formula designed to help soften the appearance of fine lines while improving the look of overall tone and texture. Consistency matters more than constantly switching products.
What are botanicals?
Botanicals are ingredients derived from plants, including flowers, herbs, seeds, nuts, roots, berries, and mushrooms. Araxie uses botanical oils, extracts, vitamins, minerals, and plant nutrients such as golden jojoba oil, babassu oil, kukui oil, shea butter, rosehip oil, and chaga, each chosen for how it performs on the skin.
What makes waterless skincare different?
Waterless skincare removes added water from the formula, leaving more room for concentrated botanical oils, nutrients, and other active ingredients. Water is commonly used as the primary base in conventional skincare. Araxie formulates without it, so a small amount of product can deliver a highly concentrated blend of oils and nutrients.
Why does Araxie use a cold-fusion process?
Heat can affect delicate botanical ingredients and naturally occurring nutrients. Our cold-fusion process combines ingredients at low temperatures without high-heat processing, which helps protect the integrity of the source materials. It is part of a larger philosophy: start with high-quality ingredients, process them thoughtfully, and avoid unnecessary dilution.
If natural skincare is better, why isn't every product natural?
Synthetic ingredients can be less expensive, easier to manufacture, and useful for creating specific textures, fragrances, or shelf-life characteristics, which is one reason they remain common. Araxie focuses on naturally sourced botanical ingredients and formulates around their inherent qualities rather than using synthetic fillers to build the product.
Is natural skincare safe for sensitive skin?
Natural does not automatically mean an ingredient will work for every person or skin type, and even highly natural botanicals can be irritating for some individuals. Araxie focuses on carefully selected botanical ingredients and avoids a long list of common synthetic additives. If your skin is particularly reactive, introduce any new product gradually, review the ingredient list, and consider a patch test first.
Is Araxie vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the USA?
Yes. Araxie is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and made in the USA.
